Chevron Norge

Chevron is the second largest integrated energy company in the United States and is active in 180 countries world wide. Chevron was founded in 1879 in California and began marketing activities in Europe in the early 1900s. After World War II, the company sold fuel under the Caltex name. In 1964, a Chevron and Texaco joint venture drilled the North Sea's first exploration well. In 1965, they spudded the first of two exploration wells in the Svalbard archipelego of northernmost Norway.

During 2005 Chevron produced about 2.5 million barrels of oil equivalent per day worldwide (the same amount produced in all of Norway), including 200,000 barrels per day in Europe. European upstream activities are headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland with offices in Norway, Denmark and the Netherlands. Refining and marketing activities in Scandinavia are conducted through our joint-venture operation, HydroTexaco.

Chevron's Norway upstream operations are located in Oslo and include production of oil and gas from the Shell-operated Draugen field in the Norwegian Sea. Chevron is actively engaged in exploring for new oil and gas fields on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and participates in several licenses.

Coca-Cola Drikker

The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC) is the world’s largest manufacturer of non-alcoholic beverages. World wide TCCC has more than 400 different products. The most known being: Coca-Cola®, Fanta® and Sprite®. These are the most sold beverages in the world.

Coca-Cola Drikker AS (CCD) was established in 1996, and is today fully owned by the TCCC. The main office and production plant is located in Lørenskog, just outside Oslo. The company cooperates with the breweries Hansa Borg, Mack and Aas. Approx. 70 % of the volume is manufactured in Lørenskog.

CCD has 950 employees, and is responsible for the production, distribution and sales in Norway. In 2005 there are 44 different nationalities working in Coca-Cola Drikker AS. This is a very high number in Norwegian standards. The company is continuously working with integration, and in 2004 it won a prize for this effort.

In 2004 the sales for Coca-Cola Drikker was 304 million liters, which is over 50% of the Norwegian soft drink market. The number of brands in Norway, have increased from 8 in 1999 to 28 in 2005.

In 2005 the focus areas are in line with consumer’s choice: Light products and carbonated water. Hence the latest products that have been launched (a total of eight*) are all in the category lights, water or sport drinks.



ConocoPhillips Norge

ConocoPhillips Norge is the third largest energy company in Norway. Headquartered in Tananger outside Stavanger, the company has a total of 1735 employees. The company is the operator of seven production licenses and has interests in 25 non-operated licenses. The core activities of ConocoPhillips Norge are petroleum exploration and production.

ConocoPhillips Norge, with a daily production of 270,000 barrels of oil equivalent, accounts for about 17% of the oil and gas production in the new company. ConocoPhillips Norge is the biggest business unit in the company outside the US, based on number of employees.

ConocoPhillips Norge has a strong position on big fields on the Norwegian continental shelf. The company is the operator of the fields in the Ekofisk Area, which is the mainstay of the company's activities in Norway.

The company also has attractive assets in non-operated fields, including Heidrun, Statfjord, Visund, Oseberg, Troll and Huldra. These fields are on stream and will generate stable revenues in the years to come. In 2002 the production from non-operated fields totaled some 120,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day, or some 45% of the total production from ConocoPhillips Norge.

TINE BA is the sales and marketing organization for Norway's dairy cooperative and is responsible for product development, quality assurance, production and distribution planning, marketing and the export of TINE products.

Norway's Dairy Cooperative is owned by 16312 dairy farmers. Each of them owns a share in the collective's five dairy companies to which they deliver 1.4 billion liters of cow milk and about 19 million litres of goat milk every year. The Dairy Cooperative is Norway's largest food industry with a total of 5540 employees and annual revenue of 15,9 billion NOK in 2007.

In 2006 The TINE dairy cooperative turned 125 years old.

The milk is processed into more than 200 product varieties that are found on shop shelves under the TINE trademark.
